MOSOCW, May 6 (RIA Novosti's Olga Semyonova). Russian Rosoboronexport Federal State unitary enterprise will participate in 7th International aero-space exhibition ILA-2004 to be held from May 10 through 16 in Germany. The Russian display designed to attract Central and Eastern European countries, that have Russian-made military hardware in their armies and need it to be maintained and upgraded. This was disclosed by the spokesman for the Rosoboronexport press-service.
According to him the share of Rosoboronexport in overall Russian export of weaponry and military hardware in 2003 topped 90% and the total revenues reached a record 5.1 billion dollars. Aero-space hardware and space services constitute 70% of the company's export.
The image-making display of the company presents a wide range of Russian aircraft and weaponry as well as dual and civil purpose products.
Federal Union of the German aero-space industry is the organiser of this biennial exhibition. The leading companies from Europe, the USA, South America and Asia take part in the exhibition.
