RUSSIA'S GOLD AND CURRENCY RESERVES REDUCED BY $100 MILLION TO $82.7 BILLION

MOSCOW, May 6, (RIA Novosti) - The gold and hard currency reserves of the Russian Federation as of April 30, 2004 amounted to $87.8 billion, against $83.8 billion on April 23, 2004.

This information was reported in a press release that RIA Novosti received on Thursday from the Foreign and Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia.
