TBILISI, May 4 (RIA Novosti) - Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zurabishvili has disagreed with the statement of Council of Europe Secretary General Walter Schwimmer on the situation in Adzharia.

Earlier Schwimmer said that the bridge blasts near the Adzharian administrative border were the results of "the inability of Georgia's central authorities and the autonomy's leadership to hold a dialog".

Appearing on Georgian Rustavi 2 TV Zurabishvili said that she did not agree with Walter Schwimmer's opinion, because "it is incorrect and does not reflect the real situation".

"The explosions of bridges in Adzharia is not a result of suspended dialog, it's a result of decisions of the autonomy's leader Aslan Abashidze, who has set himself against people of Adzharia and isolated them from the rest of Georgia", she pointed out.

The minister hopes that "European organizations will not keep silent and in the near future will give Abashidze's action their principal assessment".

The Georgian Foreign Ministry "has informed Strasbourg of human rights violations in Adzharia", she said.

"We hope that European and international organizations will give an adequate assessment to Abashidze's actions," Zurabishvili emphasized.
