MOSCOW, May 2 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Foreign Ministry says that all the problems between Tbilisi and Batumi should be resolved by way of a dialog.
The situation around Adzharia (an autonomous republic within Georgia with its capital in Batumi) has generated serious apprehensions lately; signals are coming, which suggest the possibility of the use of force against Adzharia, a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Alexander Yakovenko says.
"Russia has warned Georgia on many occasions that any use-of-force scenario will have disastrous consequences. We stress once again that all the existing problems should be resolved by way of a dialog, only at a table of negotiations," the statement says.
