MOSCOW, April 22 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian oil producer Open-End Joint-Stock Company (OAO) Sibneft has increased from 20 to 100 percent ownership of the authorised capital of the Close Joint-Stock Company (ZAO) Archinskoe and the Limited Liability Company (OOO) Shinginskoe, licensed to produce hydrocarbon primary materials in the Tomsk region (West Siberia), the company says in the press release.

"The development of deposits in the Tomsk region is along the lines of our strategy, targeting a broader geography of work", Sibneft president Yevgeni Shvidler said. Their proximity to the West-Krapivinski field "promotes the formation of a single oil-producing complex of our company in the south of West Siberia", he noted.

Archinskoe has a license for the prospecting, survey and production of hydrocarbons in the Archinski and Urmankoe fields, whose total recoverable reserves come up to over 15 million tonnes of oil.

Shinginskoe is licensed to prospect, survey and produce hydrocarbons in the Shinginskoe field with over five million tonnes of recoverable reserves of oil.

The Archinskoe, Urmanskoe and Shinginskoe oil fields lie in the Parabelskoe district of the Tomsk region adjacent to the West-Krapivinskoe field of the Omsk region, which Sibneft has been developing since 2001.

In the third year of commercial production, 2.9 million tonnes of oil is forecasted to be produced annually.
