NEW EXPEDITION TO ISS STARTS TOMORROW

MOSCOW, April 18 (RIA Novosti) - One more, the 9th expedition will go to the International Space Station (ISS). According to the information disclosed by the Federal space agency the carrier-rocket Soyuz-FG will be launched from Baikonur cosmodrome at 7:18 Moscow time on Monday.

Russian cosmonaut Gennadi Padalka heads the expedition, the only subordinate being Michael Fink from the European Space agency. They will stay at the ISS for six months.

The representative of the European Space Agency, Andrew Coopers will accompany the two in the flight to the ISS. He is scheduled to return to the Earth with the members of the present, 8th mission, American Michael Fouell and Russian Alexander Kaleri.

The space ship Soyuz TMA-4 will bring the mission to the station on April 21. The automatic space-link is preliminary fixed for 9:00. - 0 - (muz/sm)
