RUSSIA'S OIL GIANT OFFERS 2ND ISSUE BONDS

MOSCOW, April 17 (RIA Novosti) - The LUKoil petroleum giant has issued Series 02 bonds to a total six billion rubles, roughly $200 mln, reports Russia's Federal Securities Market Commission, which has registered the bonds today under number 4-02-00077-A.

The six million bonds, each at a thousand ruble nominal, will be in circulation for 1,820 days. The Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange stock market board is offering them at the nominal value on open subscription. Ten six-monthly coupons envisage equal rates of interest to be determined proceeding from contest results on the day bond sales start. The emitter is to set its three-year offer redemption price no later than a week before sale opening.
