In association with designers and makers of Russian products for military, dual and civilian use, Rosoboronexport will present original innovative projects with a wide range of application areas, including medicine, environmental protection, mechanical engineering, electronics, energy production, chemistry, agriculture, information technologies, and telecommunications, a Rosoboronexport spokesperson told RIA in an interview.
According to our interviewee, the forthcoming forum's goals include promoting the innovative development of companies and entire regions, streamlining mechanisms for marketing high-tech products, and expanding interregional and international business cooperation. It is also aimed at attracting investment for the implementation of promising high-tech projects; developing innovative infrastructure facilities (such as technological parks, innovative technology centers, and technology transfer centers); and protecting, commercializing and managing intellectual property, the spokesperson said.
The High Technologies of the 21st Century forum will run in Moscow April 19 through 23.
