MOSCOW, April 12 (RIA Novosti) - Federal President Vladimir Putin awarded government decorations to notables of the Russian space effort on Space Pilot Day in a Federal Space Agency gala.
Sergei Treschev, test pilot of the Energia space rocket corporation, received the titles of Hero of Russia and Space Pilot of Russia.
Valeri Korzun, space pilots' top commander, and Yuri Onufrienko, space pilot unit commander and test pilot instructor, received the orders, For Service to Motherland, 4th class.
Fedor Yurchikhin, Energia Corp. test pilot, received the Order of Friendship and title of Space Pilot of Russia.
