NOVOSIBIRSK, April 10 (RIA Novosti) - Kemerovo region (Siberia) governor Aman Tuleyev reported to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov over the phone on the course of the rescue operation at the Taizhina mine in Kuzbass, where an accident happened on Saturday, RIA Novosti was told in the Kemerovo region administration press service.
Earlier, Tuleyev reported on the issue three times to emergencies minister Sergei Shoigu.
Experts from Moscow will arrive to look into the matter.
By preliminary data, emission of methane caused the accident, as a result of which rock failure happened.
Tuleyev is at the site. He heads the operational staff.
By the latest data, 20 miners died, some 30 are missing after the mine tragedy.
