As the Armenian Foreign Ministry's PR department reports, the two officials discussed progress in the implementation of resolutions adopted by the organization at its last year's session in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe. They underlined the need to speed up the ratification of documents signed by its member nations (Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan).
Bordyuzha said that the process of shaping the Collective Security Treaty Organization had been almost completed by now, including the creation of a mechanism for comparing the member states' foreign policies.
The sides also discussed the agenda of the organization's next session, to be held on June 18 and 19 in the Kazakh capital, Astana. Oskanyan handed to Bordyuzha a Protocol on Military Technological Cooperation after it had been signed by the Armenian side.
The Russian official also met with Serge Sarkisysan, Defense Minister and Secretary of the Armenian President's National Security Council.
