MOSCOW, April 5 (RIA Novosti) - An exhibition called "Two Capitals: Moscow and Washington" will be held in the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art from April 9 to May 5.

Original jeweler's masterpieces made by Russian and American jewelers will be presented. The exposition includes over 300 works, the main part of which are made of non-precious high-tech materials with the use of titanium, rubber, optical glass in combination with various fabrics, museum officials said.

The organizers believe the exposition will determine the main trends in line with which the modern jeweler's art will develop in the decades to come. Being guided by author's art, the best-known jeweler's houses create their collections and produce jewelry popular worldwide.

The exposition organizers believe its main tasks are the demonstration of absolute individuality of each artist and his/her works, as well as the demonstration of the tendencies of development of national schools represented. Modern Russian art, in particular, jeweler's, is capable of generating new ideas and discovering names of masters unknown before, the museum officials said.
