GEORGIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER DISCUSSES FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT IN MOSCOW

MOSCOW, April 5, 2004. (RIA Novosti's Olga Semyonova) - Routine meetings between representatives of the Russian and Georgian Foreign Ministries began in Moscow on Monday to discuss the resumption of talks on the Russian-Georgian framework agreement, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, Georgian chief delegate, Deputy Foreign Minister Mirab Antadze is to meet with Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister Valery Loshchinin.

"In addition, the sides are to discuss the return of refugees to the Galsky district of Abkhazia (a rebellious autonomy in Georgia) and the resumption of talks on military issues," the source said.
