MOSCOW, March 26, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Moscow and Beijing are ready for active and close cooperation with the CIS countries. This was announced by participants in the Russian-Chinese consultations in Beijing held from March 24 to 26.
Russian and Chinese deputy foreign ministers Valery Loshchinin and Dai Binguo discussed vital bilateral issues and international issues of mutual interest, the press and information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti on Friday.
The sides focused on the consolidation of Russian-Chinese international cooperation.
Valery Loshchinin also met with member of the Chinese State Council Tang Jiaxuan and Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing.
