NOVOSIBIRSK, March 24 - RIA Novosti. Last night rock collapsed in the Krasnokamenskaya coal mine at the town of Kiselevsk of the Kemerovo Region.
As the press service of the Kemerovo Region's administration told RIA Novosti, the rock fell onto assistant chief of a bay Yuri Loparev.
Immediately following the accident, two squads of a militarized mining rescue unit went to the coal mine and started removing the rubble. By 3.00 a.m. the body of dead Loparev was raised to the surface.
The killed miner was 41 years old, and there are two children in his family, a press service official noted.
According to him, the coal mine is now working in its normal regime.
