MOSCOW, March 22, 2004 - RIA Novosti. In 2005 the Russian gross domestic product (GDP) is to grow by 5.8% with an average oil price being $24 per barrel. This was stated by head of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade German Gref at a traditional conference at the President of Russia.
This year's budget envisages the GDP growth of 5.2% with the oil price of $20 per barrel. In line with a favorable forecast (with high oil prices) the GDP growth in 2004 may amount to 5.7-5.8% .
