MOSCOW, March 22, 2004. (RIA Novosti). The government will consider the tax reform concept and a block of relevant bills on April 8, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin told a press conference with RIA Novosti.
According to him, on Saturday, March 20, the Finance Ministry submitted the tax reform concept to the government and 10 sequential bills will be submitted on April 2.
In addition, the government is to consider bills on the division of powers at different levels of authority, including the so-called mandates, social obligations of the state, which will be fulfilled by constituent members and municipalities of the Russian Federation, Mr. Kudrin said. All of them will have relevant sources of financing, he added.
