FRADKOV APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF FEDERAL FINANCE MONITORING SERVICE

MOSCOW, March 17 (RIA Novosti) - Viktor Zubkov was appointed the head of the Federal Finance Monitoring Service, the Government Information Department reported.

The Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed the appointment. Mr. Zubkov headed the State Financial Monitoring Committee in the former Government, which was succeeded by the Federal Finance Monitoring Service. The Finance Ministry will run the Federal Finance Monitoring Service as well as five other federal services.

Mr. Fradkov made three other appointments to the Transport and Communications Ministry.

Alexander Neradko, a former first deputy transport minister, was appointed as the head of the Federal Transport Supervision Service. Another former deputy transport minister, Anatoly Nasonov, was appointed as the head of the Federal Roads Agency.

The Federal Railway Transport Agency is headed by Mikhail Akulov, a deputy communications minister in the former Government.
