MOSCOW, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - The Central Election Commission of Russia received during the night no complaints or reports of election law violations.

"In the course of the last night no alarming complaints, reports or statements about possible breaches of election legislation arrived at the Central Election Commission," said Vladimir Lysenko, member of the CEC of the Russian Federation.

According to him, the preliminary results of the presidential election on the territory of Russia are nearly all in. "It remains only to process the returns from overseas polling stations and stations located in distant and hard-to-reach regions," Lysenko said.

By this hour, almost 98 per cent of the protocols from district election commissions have been processed, said the CEC member. He emphasised that "in any case we will not have results from all 100 per cent of stations today".
