ARCHBISHOP OF POLAND: RUSSIAN PATRIARCH, POPE MAY MEET NEXT YEAR IN WARSAW

WARSAW, MARCH 14, 2004, RIA NOVOSTI - Pope John Paul II and Patriarch Alexis of Moscow and All Russia may meet in the Polish capital, Warsaw, in the summer of 2005, Archbishop of Poland Josef Glemp said in a radio interview.

The Pope is planning a trip to his native Poland in June next year, and the Russian Orthodox leader could be invited for a concurrent visit, Archbishop Glemp said. "We will be having all kinds of guests, various outstanding personalities, not just Catholics," he explained.
