The Russian Information Agency Novosti begins Hotline coverage for Sunday, March 14th, 2004.

* Elections of the Russian President will take place tomorrow.

At the same time 10 constituent members of the Russian Federation (Udmurtia, the Altai and Krasnodar territories, the Archangelsk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Murmansk, Ryazan and Chita regions and the Koryak autonomous area) will hold elections of heads of executive power bodies. Elections of legislative power bodies will be held in six constituent members (Karachayevo-Chirkassia, Tatarstan, the Altai territory, the Sverdlovsk and Yaroslavl regions, and the Ust-Ordyn Buryat autonomous area). Three single-mandate districts will see the second round of elections of State Duma deputies. All in all, 73 constituent members of the Russian Federation will hold election campaigns at different levels together with the presidential elections.

MOSCOW

* The Elections-2004 information center will give journalists turnout data at 10.00, 12.00, 15.00, 17.00, 19.00 and 21.00 Moscow time. The first preliminary voting results will be known at 21.00 after closing of polling stations in the Kaliningrad region. From 21.00 till 8.00 on March 15 the Information center will give hourly reports on preliminary results of elections all over Russia.

BEIJING

* Russian Former Deputy Atomic Energy Minister Vladimir Asmolov will start his visit to China. He will discuss with the Chinese officials cooperation in nuclear power engineering sphere, in particular, construction of the Tianwan nuclear power plant.
