NAZAROV APPOINTED FEDERAL PROPERTY AGENCY CHIEF

MOSCOW, March 12, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent) - The Russian presidential press service has circulated an official statement about relieving Vladimir Nazarov of his duties of the deputy chief of the presidential administration and head of the Main Control Department of the Russian president in view of his new appointment.

According to the Government Information Department, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed a decree to appoint Mr. Nazarov chief of the Federal Property Agency.

Valery Nazarov was born in 1955 in Michurinsk, Tambov region (black-soil area).

In 1985, he graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Communications Institute.

In 1998, Mr. Nazarov graduated from the Russian Academy of State Service under the Russian president.

In 2004, Valery Nazarov was appointed deputy chief of the presidential administration and head of the Main Control Department under the Russian president.
