RUSSIA'S GOLD AND HARD CURRENCY RESERVES DECREASE BY $1.8 BILLION

MOSCOW, March 11, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- Over the past week, Russia's gold and hard currency reserves decreased by $ 1.8 billion. On March 5, 2004, they amounted to $84.6 billion, as compared to $86.4 billion of February 27, 2004.

These figures have been cited in a press-release of the Central Bank's department for external and public relations.
