MOSCOW, MARCH 9-RIA NOVOSTI- Following bilateral talks in Moscow, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Razov and Lithuanian Foreign Ministry secretary Darius Jurgelevicius told newsmen that Russia and Lithuania approved progress in the implementation of a bilateral agreement on re-admission, concluded last year. This agreement on readmission, that is repatriation of illegal migrants, is the first and only such document signed by Russia with a foreign state, according to Sergey Razov.

He said the agreement was operating successfully. "If there are any illegal migrants who are being returned home, they are very few in number," said the diplomat.

His Lithuanian counter-part said that there was not a single illegal migrant from Russia. "The treaty is 100 percent effective," concluded the Lithuanian foreign ministry secretary.
