SECRETARIES OF SECURITY COUNCILS OF "SLAV FOUR" - RUSSIA, POLAND, BELARUS AND UKRAINE - TO MEET IN KRAKOW

WARSAW, March 9 - RIA Novosti. Leonid Sviridov. A two-day meeting of the Security Councils secretaries of the "Slav four" - Russia, Poland, Belarus and Ukraine - is opening in Krakow on Tuesday.

The Russian delegation at the Krakow meeting is to be headed by secretary of the Russian Federation's Security Council Vladimir Rushailo.

In the course of the meeting it is planned to discuss topical problems of international and regional security, specifically in the context of the enlargement of NATO and the European Union.

The questions of the further deepening of interaction of the four Slav states in the fight against international terrorism, transnational crime and illegal migration, and in countering proliferation of weapons of mass destruction are expected to be considered at the meeting.

It is planned to adopt a joint agreement following the meeting.
