ASHKHABAD, March 7, 2004. (RIA Novosti correspondent Viktor Panov) - Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov sent a telegram to Mikhail Fradkov with congratulations concerning his appointment on the post of the Russian Prime Minister.
Saparmurat Niyazov expressed his hope that "the Russian economy will be successfully developing and Russo-Turkmen relations, based on the mutually beneficial and partner-like interaction, would get a new impetus for the further development and expansion for the sake of Russian and Turkmen peoples' wealth and in the interest of the stability provision in the Central Asia." The Turkmen President wished the Russian Prime Minister health and success, and wished the Russian people happiness and prosperity.
