MOSCOW, MARCH 5, RIA NOVOSTI - Russian Auditing Chamber delegates are in Uruguay on an official visit. Guillermo Ramirez, the host country's Auditing Chamber president, and Sergei Stepashin, his Russian counterpart, met today to sign a partnership agreement, Russia's Auditing Chamber information and public relations board reports in a press release.
The agreement envisages parallel inspections, and exchanges of information, reference materials, and governmental financial monitoring knowhow.
As both Parties pointed out, the Auditing Chambers' partnership will honourably contribute to progress of bilateral economic contacts and commerce-particularly in oil-and-gas industry, fishing, and R&D exchanges.
The Russian delegates are departing for Chile today. They visited Brazil before Uruguay on a Latin American tour, adds the release.
