PUTIN, BERLUSCONI DISCUSS RUSSIAN-ITALIAN PARTNERSHIP

MOSCOW, MARCH 2, 2004 (RIA-NOVOSTI) - President Vladimir Putin of Russia and Silvio Berlusconi, Italy's Prime Minister, had a telephone conference today, reports the Kremlin press service.

They discussed implementing blueprints for bilateral partnership, on which last year's summiteers agreed in Rome. Humanitarian contacts and high technological partnership were in the foreground of today's conference.

Messrs. Putin and Berlusconi also discussed many other topical issues of bilateral partnership.
