MOSCOW, MARCH 2 (RIA NOVOSTI) - At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, acting Vice-Premier Alexei Kudrin reported on the main results of budget performance over two months of 2004.

"Budget revenues are as planned - 435 billion rubles over the two months. Expenditures are also according to the plan - 437 billion rubles," Mr. Kudrin said.

To him, excess of expenses over receipts is 2.2 billion rubles (one dollar approximately equals 28.5 rubles).

It is a "planned excess," linked to the need of supporting regions, noted the acting prime minister.

In all, 26.3 billion rubles of donations have been transferred to the federation entities, Mr. Kudrin said.
