MOSCOW, March 2 (RIA Novosti) - The Homeland faction will decide on the voting on the candidacy of the prime-minister after meeting with Mikhail Fradkov, proposed by the Russian president for this post, Duma vice-speaker from Homeland Dmitry Rogozin stated on Tuesday.
"I know for sure that in Homeland there are deputies who are ready to support him," he noted.
The deputies of the faction first need to learn Fradkov's program, the composition of the cabinet of ministers which he intends to propose, stressed Rogozin.
He said that he "knows Fradkov well" and described him as "a literate" executive.
It is expected that the candidate for the post of the premier will meet with representatives of the Homeland faction today, while Rogozin intends to meet with Fradkov at 5.00pm.
Apart from that, Fradkov will meet in the State Duma with representatives of the remaining three Duma factions.
