MOSCOW, MARCH 1. /RIA NOVOSTI CORRESPONDENT TATIANA ZAKHARCHENKO/ -- Vice-speaker of the State Duma and LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovski has lauded the company Nafta-Moscow for ending the talks to buy Roma football club and rejecting this idea.

"We want money for the development of the Russian economy", said the vice-speaker of the lower chamber of Russian parliament in a RIA Novosti interview.

Zhrinovski added that the managers of the Russian company have "changed their mind" in time and are not investing money in the latest craze.

"Nobody will sold a good club", he said.

The lawyer for Nafta-Moscow said on Monday that the Russian side has refused to talk the purchase of the football club Roma referring to the problems related to the Italian authorities' checks of the club's financial activities.
