GENEVA, MARCH 1 (RIA Novosti correspondent Ekaterina Andrianova) - Swiss authorities made today an official permission to Russian ambassadorial officers to visit Vitali Kaloyev, Russian national suspected of killing a SkyGuide Co. flight controller.

Diplomats are getting ready to see Kaloyev, detained in Zurich, and willing to offer him consular assistance. They are not sure just when they will visit him, an ambassadorial spokesman said to Novosti.

No comments from the Swiss side can be obtained as district attorney Pascal Gossner, who is investigating the murder, has been avoiding the media for several days now.

A SkyGuide flight controller was found stabbed dead in his home in Kloten near Zurich, Tuesday last. On duty the night of the Bodensee air crash, he was among suspected culprits.

A TU 154 liner of the Bashkir Airlines (Bashkortostan is Russia's constituent republic on the Volga) collided with a cargo Boeing 747 above Lake Boden in Germany, July 2002. The tragedy killed 69 TU passengers, mostly children, and the two Boeing pilots.

Vitali Kaloyev, 48, lost all his near and dear in the crash - wife, son and daughter. He was detained in a Kloten hotel the day after the murder, and pleaded innocent.
