VLADIMIR PUTIN CONGRATULATED NOVOSTI-GEORGIA INFORMATION AGENCY WITH COMMENCEMENT OF OPERATIONS

TBILISI, 28 February. /RIA Novosti/. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Novosti-Georgia information agency with commencement of its operations.

The telegram was read by Russian ambassador in Georgia Vladimir Chkhikvishvili at the ceremony of execution of the partnership agreement between the "Novosti- Georgia" Georgian Association of journalists and the Russian informational agency Novosti. The ceremony took place in the Russian embassy in Tbilisi.

The Presidential telegram read: "I consider it very important that you are planning to transmit your messages both in the Russian and Georgian languages. It will permit Russians to learn more about the contemporary Georgian life, and will allow Georgian readers and viewers to get acquainted with the processes taking place in Russia".

The head of the Russian state wrote: "I am confident that your agency operations will strengthen friendly relations between our countries and peoples. And certainly, will present new opportunities for business cooperation, for interesting projects and activities." Vladimir Putin wished agency's employees creative achievements.
