MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 24 (RIA NOVOSTI) - A summary register of organizations in the defense-industrial complex is being drawn up in Russia as instructed by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, RIA Novosti was told at the Government Information Department. The register is needed for "the realization of the single state policy in the reforming and development of the defense-industrial complex." It will be a federal information system with limited-access information due to be protected in keeping with the legislation of the Russian Federation. The register will contain information on organizations, their property and financial status, economic efficiency.
The Ministry for Industry, Science and Technologies has been instructed to create and keep the register.
