MOSCOW, February 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin believes the State Duma should thoroughly analyze the entire anti-corruption legislation to check its quality and consistency.

The Russian president stressed that the work should be continued in all areas that have recently been in the focus of attention. "There are practical reserves, now it's time for further steps," he said.

Putin expressed the hope that the new Duma will significantly contribute to cooperation between all branches of power. "Each of them has its own specific tasks but we have been working as a team in the past few years, and I am sure this is the only way to achieve any serious results in the national development," he said.

The Russian president wished success to all those present, to all Duma deputies, and congratulated them on the tenth anniversary of the Russian parliament.
