SEVEROMORSK, FEBRUARY 17 (RIA Novosti) - Federal President Vladimir Putin congratulated participants of current naval games on today's shooting exercise in which they brought down ballistic missiles, and thanked them for excellent performance.
President Putin chaired a conference at the Northern Fleet HQ today. Sergei Ivanov, federal Minister of Defense, and Admiral Vladimir Kuroyedov, in command of the Russian Navy, were attending.
Today's missile shooting came among principal parts of the exercise in Russia's north, the President told the conferees.
