TEL AVIV, February 8, 2004. (RIA Novosti correspondent Ratmir Orestov) - The Federation of Russian-Speaking Israelis is expressing profound condolence with Russia on the Friday metro blast in a message to Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

The atrocious crime in Russia's capital is a manifestation of war that terror is waging on contemporary humanism the world over-humanism, which exalts human life as supreme value. Terror knows no borders. It has become routine whether in Tel Aviv, Moscow or New York City. Israelis have a firsthand experience of bus and eatery blasts. They know how it feels to lose one's near and dear, says the message, signed by Sopha Landwer, federation president.

Israelis share with Russians their entire agony and mourning. They wholly share wrath and indignation with inhuman killers. The world is to see that it must fight evil. Terror is an appalling danger to the entire human race, and we cannot resist it unless we do it all together, appeals the letter.
