MOSCOW, JANUARY 27, RIA NOVOSTI - The federal Auditing Chamber, Russia's supreme inspection body, will sum up privatisation-only for analyses. Privatisation will certainly not go under revision, reassured Sergei Stepashin, Chamber president, while in conference with Robert Dudley, president of the Russo-British petroleum company, TNK-BP.

Sergei Stepashin answered Robert Dudley's questions about current political developments in Russia, say Auditing Chamber PR. The Chamber will shortly start analysing privatisation efforts of the preceding ten years. To reverse, let alone annul privatisation is out of the question. The work only means to promote companies who have not badly trespassed the law, pointed out Mr. Stepashin.

He told his conference partner about Auditing Chamber contribution to activities at the federal top to make the Russian economy more transparent and improve capital investment terms.

A recent election to the State Duma, parliament's lower house, offered prerequisites to speed up legislative efforts encouraging Russian reforms to promote economic progress, said Sergei Stepashin.
