IN 2004 GAZEXPORT WILL SUPPLY 400 MILLION CUBIC METERS OF NATURAL GAS TO GEORGIA

TBILISI, JANUARY 20 (RIA Novosti) - In 2004 the Gazexport company will supply 400 million cubic meters of natural gas to Georgia.

The contract has been signed by the Tbilgaz company and Gazprom's subsidiary Gazexport on January 20, the news agency Novosti-Georgia was told by the gas-distribution company Tbilgaz. It is based in Tbilisi and managed by the New Management partnership.

Under the contract, the price of gas to be supplied is 60 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters. Payment for the consumed natural gas is to be made within 15 days of the following month.

Gazexport has been supplying natural gas to Tbilisi since October 1, 2003. Earlier, it arrived here from the Itera international energy company.
