Moldova's Re-Integration Minister Vasily Shova made this statement speaking to the government news agency Moldpress Friday.
He pointed out the importance of the recent decision made by representatives of Russia, Ukraine and OSCE, to meet in the capital of Bulgaria on January 26 and 27 to discuss issues related to the renewal of the talks.
"The relevant consultations have been held since mid-December, and some evident progress has been made. We pin a hope on the projected Sofia meeting that the date of the new round of talks will be fixed," Shova added.
According to the minister, the Russian memorandum describing the "asymmetrical federation principle," and earlier recommendations as well, have laid a solid foundation for further efforts in this sphere.
