GENEVA, January 13 (RIA Novosti correspondent Yekaterina Andrianova) - On Tuesday the organizers of the World Economic Forum in Davos scheduled for January 21-25, announced its 2004 slogan - "Partnership for Security and Prosperity".

"We live in an unstable and vulnerable world. There will be no stable economic growth without security. The world leaders at the annual meeting in Davos will focus on this issue. On the other side, there will be no security without prospects for prosperity," professor of the Geneva University Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, said.

More than 2,100 delegates from 94 countries, including 30 heads of state and 75 government members, will participate in the Davos Forum. Vice Premier and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin will represent Russia.

"I am happy that the Russian Vice Premier will participate in the forum. I am convinced that there will be many issues on the situation in Russia and on real consequences of the parliamentary elections," Schwab said.

"I am also happy that Russian businessmen will take part in the forum, so we shall have a good basis for the discussion of these issues," he added.

A session on Russia's future is scheduled for January 22. Its participants will discuss possible scenarios of economic and political developments in Russia.
