SUZDAL (the Vladimir region), January 6, 2004. /RIA Novosti special correspondent/ -- On Tuesday Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a working visit to the town of Suzdal, Central Russia.
As RIA Novosti learned from the President's press secretary Alexey Gromov, Putin will be accompanied by his plenipotentiary in the Central federal district Georgy Poltavchenko and will meet governor of the Vladimir region Nikolai Vinogradov.
He will also meet Suzdal Mayor Andrei Ryzhov.
Apart from this, the President intends to examine the work of restorers in the Spaso-Yefimiyev monastery. He is also expected to visit the Suzdal Kremlin and some other places of the town, Gromov reported.
Late in the evening Putin will attend the Christmas service at a Suzdal cathedral.
