The Russian Defense Ministry did not have any interaction with the Taliban terrorist group, according to ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian Defense Ministry on Monday denied claims of Russian arms supplies to the Taliban terrorist group (banned in Russia).

"Unlike US state agencies, the Russian Defense Ministry did not and cannot have any interaction with, let alone supplies of armaments to, organizations recognized by the UN as terrorist," ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.
