ALGIERS (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, media reported that the OPEC states reached an agreement to freeze daily oil output for the whole organization.
"The commitment date is also will be in the recommendation [of the special committee] to be considered at the party [in Vienna on November 30]," Al Sada told during the press conference held after informal talks in Algiers which turned into an extraordinary session of OPEC.
According to a final statement adopted after the meeting, OPEC plans to work out a permanent format of high-level consultations with oil producing countries that are not part of the organization in order to ensure market stability.
