MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold "full-format talks" on September 4, the Kremlin press service said Tuesday.
"The summit's official program will begin on September 4. Putin's participation is planned at the forum's first working session…as well as in the official reception of President Xi Jinping. Full-format talks between Putin and President Xi Jinping are also planned," the press service said in a statement.
The two leaders are set to discuss bilateral cooperation in various fields and "pay particular attention to international and regional problems," according to the statement. A number of documents are set to be signed following the talks.
