US Transfers Nukes From Turkey to Romania Amid Rising Tensions
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Brussels-based EurActiv online news outlet cited sources as saying earlier in the day that Washington was preparing to move over 20 warheads to the US base at Deveselu. The move is explained as stemming from increasingly tense relations with Turkey following the failed July 15 coup there.

“In response to your request, Romanian MFA firmly dismisses the information you referred to,” the Romanian Foreign Ministry wrote to RIA Novosti.
