MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia and Turkey discussed the resumption of charter flights and the tourist flow during a recent visit of a high-ranking Turkish delegation to Moscow.
"I think that the full resumption of tourist flow is possible only next year," Sokolov said in an interview with Rossiya 24 television.
Sokolov stressed that Turkish airports must enhance security screening at their facilities to meet international standards.
Charter flights between Russia and Turkey have been suspended following the downing of a Russian Su-24 combat plane by the Turkish air force in November 2015.
