WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – US President Barack Obama said on Wednesday that his upcoming visit to Japan’s Hiroshima stresses commitment to a nuclear-free world.

“Our visit to Hiroshima will honor all those who we lost in World War II and reaffirm our shared vision of the world without nuclear weapons,” Obama stated in a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
