CAIRO (Sputnik) – The EgyptAir flight MS804 that went off radar screens while en route from Paris to Cairo on Thursday had the nationals of France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the United Kingdom among others on board, the airline said.
"EGYPTAIR confirms that there are 56 passengers… the passengers' nationalities are as follows: — 15 French — 30 Egyptian — 1 British — 1 Belgium — 2 Iraqis — 1 Kuwaiti — 1 Saudi — 1 Sudanese — 1 Chadian — 1 Portuguese — 1 Algerian — 1 Canadian," EgyptAir said on its Twitter account.
EgyptAir Flight MS804 departed from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 23:09 GMT. The aircraft headed for Cairo International Airport. According to the airline, there were a total of 66 people on board the plane, including 56 passengers.
