Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and Pope Francis have not agreed to meet again, but future meetings are possible, the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church said.

HAVANA (Sputnik) — The historic meeting between the heads of the Roman Catholic Church and the Russian Orthodox Church took pace at Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport on Friday. The meeting marks the first time a Catholic pope and an Orthodox patriarch meet since Christianity split into western and eastern branches in 1054.

"I do not rule this out. It is possible. We did not agree on any meetings. But since the first meeting took place, a second and a third are possible," Patriarch Kirill told RT-America in an interview to be published next week.
